Why we LOVE Singapore Air!!

Hey all,
We are currently sitting in the Tokyo Airport waiting 1 hour and 20 mins to re-board our flight to Singapore (we had to go through security again and the plane had to refuel). We have seats and wifi, so why not reflect on our journey so far?

Ok, so we know this is going to be a bit biased because our flight on SingAir is international and our flight on JetBlue was domestic, but here are some reasons why SingAir is just simply the best...

Jet Blue	Sing Air
Freezing	Complimentary blanket and socks (and pillow)
Free bag of chips	Free drinks (alcoholic…) 2 Meals (in the first half!!) Free Biscotti and other delicious snacks Free toothbrush Free headphones
Nice Staff (one shined amongst the rest)	Above and beyond staff
Sat together	Got a whole row to ourselves with an empty seat in the middle. This was golden.
Free TV shows (with commercials, booo)	Free TV shows, wicked good (and new) movies, music, games, etc. (no commercials)
6 hour flight	21 hour flight (ewww)
Nothing to Compare	REAL cutlery, not plastic, but real metal, reusable, shiney, cold cutler #reduce #reuse #love

Ok, well after writing this we noticed that it's pretty much all about the free stuff and mostly the food, which was so so good! Let us elaborate: at the beginning of the flight they gave us a MENU.. what? Yes, a fully printed, 8 page menu. The drink list was huge, full of wine, beers, cocktails, mocktails, juice, teas and coffee. Then there were two choices for each meal we received as well as a list of "in between time snacks" which included, but was not limited to: sandwiches, chocolate bars, chips, fresh fruit, yoghurt and nuts. We could ask for these whenever we felt hungry, which wasn't at all on the first leg of the flight because they fed us two meals!!

This plane was also a double decker, with business and first class on the second floor. While Leah cringes thinking about the crazy amount of fuel it must need to make a 21 hour journey, we can both appreciate how COOL a two floor plane is.

Perhaps we will post again at Changi Airport.. we do have 5 hours! Hope everyone has a nice morning in the US of A! We miss it already but are excited for the journey ahead!!!!
